Perth Scottish Fiddlers was formed in 2009 to give musicians the opportunity to learn and play the rich and extensive fiddle music of Scotland.
There are monthly meetings to learn new music and socialise. We also have camps, workshops and informal sessions, and perform regularly at various events.
The club welcomes new members, and invites any string players with an interest in playing Scottish music to attend our monthly sessions.
Workshop with Inn Echo (Canada, PEI)
Join Karson McKeown (fiddle) and Tom Gammons (guitar) of Inn Echo for an engaging and hands-on workshop designed for fiddle players and guitarists alike! Both sessions dive into the skills, techniques, and musical awareness needed to play traditional and contemporary Celtic-inspired tunes with confidence and creativity.
Level - intermediate and above. Limited places for guitar.
