Yes, camps in Perth, Melbourne, Northumberland, Scotland and Norway; they’re all different and all fabulous.

I started learning violin as an adult about 6 years ago.

At the moment it’s Scandinavian fiddle music.

I reckon the chooks appreciate it most. 

Was it hard to learn to play by ear …

Yes and no; learning a tune by ear is far easier for me than memorizing it from paper, and I like to think it’s training my ear. It’s very forgiving when learning by ear too - plenty of wrong notes and that’s okay!
